Gateshead 5 Buxton 0

Paul Talbot also made the starting line up as Wayne Phillips was rested from the left hand side, with Phil Cave playing on the left wing.

Jamie Harwood opened the scoring on 22 minutes, after beating the Buxton keeper one on one.

Paul Brayson scored his 7th of the season just before halt time on 44 minutes, after a great cross from Craig Baxter found the former reading mans head.

One minute after half time Gateshead were back in celebration after Davie Southern smacked home from yards to take it to 3-0 on 46 minutes.

On 63 minutes substitute Graeme Armstrong whipped in a cross to find Paul Brayson who calming slotted past the stranded keeper to score his 8th goal in a heed shirt this year.
