Gateshead FC 2 Frickley 3

Disapointing result at home to Frickley with the visitors scoring after only 4 minutes. Gateshead got back into the game with a goal From Okike (pictured). but Gateshead's defence let another goal come to leave Gateshead 2-1 down at the break.

After half-time Gateshead started the better and got the leveler with David Southern grabing the tap in with the keeper lying on the deck.

In the last minute of the Game Frickley beat the Gateshead defence to send their big number 9 on the score the fatal blow. (GUTTING)

Appleby 7
looked dangerous going foward, on another day would have filled his boots.

Thompson 6
The same as Deverdics didnt have much time to show some magic.

Kendal Town 1 Gateshead FC 1

Gateshead FC got a deserved point at kendal, but should have got more.

Gateshead started the game well and had a couple of chances in the first ten minutes, but fell to a quick break away goal on 15 minutes. After this goal Gateshead had a few chances falling to Deverdics and Jamie Clarke But both effots went over the bar.

The second half started with David Southern Coming on for Deverdics, Southern made an istant impact with darting runs and pin point passes to the front line and inside midfield.

Istaed came on to replace Jamie Clarke and also made an impact down the left hand side of midfield.

Kendal had a player sent off and Gateshead bombed the kendal goal with crosses and corners in the last ten minutes.

In the last minute of the match Andy Appbley (PICTURED) found the ball coming at him on the edge of the box after a goal mouth game of pinball, and he smaked the ball in the top corner to send the Heed Army into cheers of joy! and great goal to see!!!!!!!!
