Gateshead FC 2 Frickley 3

Disapointing result at home to Frickley with the visitors scoring after only 4 minutes. Gateshead got back into the game with a goal From Okike (pictured). but Gateshead's defence let another goal come to leave Gateshead 2-1 down at the break.

After half-time Gateshead started the better and got the leveler with David Southern grabing the tap in with the keeper lying on the deck.

In the last minute of the Game Frickley beat the Gateshead defence to send their big number 9 on the score the fatal blow. (GUTTING)

Again he made problems for the other teams defence, and was in the right place at the right time to place the ball passed the helpless keeper. The Heed Army blog MAN OF THE MATCH

Appleby 7
looked dangerous going foward, on another day would have filled his boots.

Subs:

J. Clarke 7
came on in the second half, had a half chance of a brazil style over head kick, nearly.
(gets the 7 for the attempted over head kick, otherwise a 6)

Deverdics 6
Never made an impact, but in all fareness didnt have much time to.

Thompson 6
The same as Deverdics didnt have much time to show some magic.
