Gateshead have signed Heed Legend Stevie Bowey for the Second time, Bowey has been at Queen of the South (where he was captain) and York City during his 5 years away from the Heed.
Stevie joins Gateshead after York missed out on promotion to the football league in their conference play-offs. Stevie scored a penalty in the play-offs but it wasnt enough to help York.
Bowey was a big part of the team that made it to the second round of the FA CUP in 2000. Gateshead Beat Halifax Town 2-0 at the Shay to reach the second round away to Swindon Town.
