Gateshead crashed into the new year with a Horrible defeat to say the least away to Whitby Town.The Tynesiders took a 1-0 lead after Phil Cave (Pictured) slotted home a penalty, and held the lead to half time.
In the second half the Heed let in two goals, with the winner being scored by Whitby fan favourite Danny Brunskill.
