Gateshead Football Club have reportedly landed Paul Brayson After his released from York City.
Brayson a Former Reading and Cardiff City player has been a long time target of the Tynesiders, and signed for York last summer after but has found first team football as a striker hard to come by.
Paul did have a stint in a Heed shirt on loan from Northwich Vitoria a few seasons a ago and made a instant impact, His addition to the Gateshead squad will mean we have more cover and options on the attacking side.
Gateshead where not the only team in the race to get Brayson signature, with former club Northwich Victoria and Local Rivals Blyth Spartans also being talked about.
Paul played in the FA Cup third round at the Stadium of Light for Northwich, and attracted a lot of local media attention with being a local lad.
This good news also comes at a time when big James Curtis is also coming back to full fitness to help shore things up at the back for the Heed.
