Gateshead got back to winning ways in the league with a good win over play off chasing Stamford on Saturday afternoon.Supers Stevie Salvin grabbed the first goal to take his tally to 8 goals for the season, a great achievement as he has played most of the season in defence.
Steve Bowey also found the back of the net to help secure the much needed 3 points.
The Tynesiders travel to Fleetwood Town on Tuesday and will face one of the toughest games of the season. Fleetwood are also pushing hard for promotion this season and currently sit 2nd in the UniBond table.
