Istaed To Consett

The Heed Army Blog would like to say good luck to Steven Istaed who has left Gateshead to join Northern League side Consett.

Steven Joined Gateshead after his release from Hartlepool Utd last summer.

Steven holds the record for being the youngest ever player to play for Hartlepool at the age of 16. He went on to play for Hartlepool over 60 times, playing in league's 1 & 2 of the pro ranks.

His time as a Gateshead player never got off to the best of starts with injury hampering him at the beginning of the season. also a indifferent form on the pitch didn't make his time easy at Gateshead.

On a lighter note Steven always had time for the Heed Army, speaking frankly before and after games.
