Gateshead travelled to relegation threatened Stamford looking for their sixth win in a row, but sadly this was not to be.Stamford took the lead on 33 minutes with Stamford’s Byrne getting the ball into Paul Musselwhite net.
It would not be until the second half when the Tynesiders pegged the score line back to 1-1, Paul Brayson (pictured below) was on hand to score his 5th goal of the season for Gateshead, from a 25 yard free kick.
