Both sides lacked the cutting edge in the final third of the pitch, the closest the was to a goal was in the second half when a North Ferriby Midfielder had a dig from 35 yards only to hit the wood work.
Craig Nelthorpe was in classic form running at defenders like "Christiano Ronlado", another player who caught the eye was Captain Steve Salvin. Salvin was in the mix from the start running the midfield like a general.
The referee didn't have the best of games when losing control after the North Ferriby Captain pushed Craig Nelthorpe to the ground and stood over him. If I'm not mistaken raising your hands is a straight red card, but this referee handed out a yellow. He must have been keeping the RED card for Mothers Day, i don't think his mother would have been proud of him at this match.
